Robert C. Wallach, Esq

Robert C. Wallach, Esq

About Robert

Robert believes that to get the best results, you must always do the right things for the right reasons. This credo permeates his practice and his drive to do what is right, including offering reasonable rates, sets him apart in his niche area of law. Robert grew up the son of an Army Sergeant and was taught as a young man the meaning of hard work. He empathizes with health care providers and understands the difficulties in trying to maintain low overhead while operating properly under the Florida and Federal regulatory systems. The firm takes only a limited number of cases at a time, allowing Robert to give each client’s matter the time and attention needed to achieve optimal resolutions.

Following graduation from the Florida Graduate Tax Program, while travelling between Florida and Chicago during the time of his father’s fight with cancer, Robert happened to be seated next to the owner of two troubled assisted living facilities. The facilities were saddled with half a dozen final orders and over a dozen outstanding deficiencies. Closure of the facility was considered a fate accompli and the owner simply wanted to keep the facility open as long as legally possible. This became Robert’s first client.

Robert worked tirelessly to take the appropriate due diligence on identifying exonerating evidence with which to address the outstanding deficiencies. Robert’s uncanny ability to think outside the legal box, as well as within it, provided the insight to identify the additional evidence needed to save the facility from being shut down by AHCA. Robert then negotiated and structured the transaction for the facilities’ purchase and sale a few months later.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Robert spent 20 years as a financial analyst and often appeared on Bloomberg News. In 2005, he could be seen on television warning of the vulnerability of the market. Following the initial panic of 2005, he had determined a more substantial market panic was inevitable. He shifted gears and when the Panic of September 2007 occurred, he had returned to law school. In 2012, Robert opened his own practice in Coconut Creek, Florida. Robert has found that his extensive financial background and real-world experience provide him invaluable insight when representing health care business clients.
